Gulf Breeze is a city in Santa Rosa County, Florida, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 6,576. Located south of Tallahassee and north of Pensacola, Gulf Breeze serves as a bedroom community for both cities. It is home to several large parks and retail centers including Creekside Parkway, which is home to many outdoor stores and eateries including Crabtree Creek Mall and Crabtree Creek Village. The town also features several golf courses including the Wekiva Springs Golf Resort & Spa and Turtle Lake Golf Club. Surrounding areas include Apalachicola National Forest and Escambia County Land Trust where there are numerous hiking trails. The nearest major airports are Lakeland Linder International Airport (9 miles) in Lakeland south of Gulf Breeze or Pensacola Meacham Regional Airport (48 miles) west of Gulf Breeze.

The main form of public transportation in Gulf Breeze is the Creekside District trolley system. There are three routes that service Creekside and the nearby neighborhoods. The Creekside Trolley has routes that run on Creekside and serve many of the main parks in the area. The Creekside Trolley is also a popular way to get to some of the beaches on the Gulf Coast. The Beach Trolley has routes that service the beaches in the area and usually follows the same route as the trolley does. The Beach Trolley is not as well known as the Creekside Trolley, but it is a good way to get to some of the less-traveled beaches. The last route, the Palafox Trolley, has a route that goes to the Palafox Bay Marina and the Port of Gulf Breeze.
