While the new EFCU Skate Park is certainly a major highlight, there are a lot more exciting amenities available at the complex. One of the best features is the batting cages. Fort Walton Beach officials have announced that they will be installing shade structures to improve the batting cage area, which is already the hottest part of the park.
Another impressive feature is the new community center. The center includes a large racquetball court, skate park, gymnasium, and fitness room. Other amenities include a children’s playground, an outdoor grill, and a large game room.
The new community center also features a state-of-the-art, solar-powered lighted swimming pool. This is a very nice touch and makes the complex all the more appealing.
